Configure More Uncategorized Settings
From the settings screen, select “Others” to begin.
The "Others" option presents additional settings that you can view and configure. Other settings include the following:
- Man down: This is an internal tilt-switch within the radio that triggers an SOS alarm signal automatically if the radio is tilted on its side for a predetermined duration. Typically, the radio emits a warning beep to alert the user that the SOS alarm will be sent unless the radio is returned to an upright position.
- Static alarm: This operation will initiate an SOS alarm to your group when your device has been static (or not mobile) for more than the predetermined amount of time.
- Front desk operating: This function prevents the app from shutting down, ensuring that iConvNet remains constantly active on your device. When activated, any attempt to close the app will automatically reopen it.
- Forbid sleeping mode: Prevents your radio from entering sleep mode when using the app. This will effectively keep your screen turned on when using iConvNet. However, you are still able to lock your device from the default lock button.
- Automatic answer: When turned on, your device will automatically answer any temporary call received allowing you to begin talking immediately you receive a call.
- Screen wake-up: When turned on, iConvNet will always open when you wake-up your device. This means that you do not have to tap the app to bring it up. If this setting is turned on, your device will automatically open up iConvNet.
- Select push-to-talk button (None or Customized): When you select "Customized", a prompt will instruct you to select a button for your push-to-talk (or PTT), enabling you to define a more convenient PTT button when using the app.
- Select SOS button (None or Customized): When you select "Customized", a prompt will instruct you to select a button for your SOS alarm, enabling you to define a more convenient SOS button when using the app.
